It's that time of year here in NY. Lately the temperature has been in the teens and single digits. Sometimes in the negatives! There hasn't been much snow though. When my husband and I moved here in January, there was 5 feet of snow! (I've never seen that much snow in my life!) This year, Hardly 3 inches. And usually it would melt after the temperature rose or it rained.
I think the batch of snow we got last night/this morning is sticking around for a while though. Down in the Maryland/DC area they've gotten a huge snow storm and it's heading our way.
Currently it is about 13 degrees outside. I decided that because it wasn't a blizzard out, and because it wasn't raining, that I would take Kenti outside to see the snow. We haven't taken her out lately because the new harness we bought her is a bit too big, and with temperatures as they are, we don't want her to freeze. So, I bundled up, got her harness and leash on, and we went out and played in the snow for a bit. She thought it was weird at first, but I think she liked it. She wants to go back out.
Unfortunately for her, I have no way of leaving her out there right now (as her harness is too big) and I'm about to make cookies for Christmas.
So, here's Kenti playing in the snow. She shoved her face in it and got it all over her nose. Silly puppy.
