Kenti is very difficult to photograph. She's constantly on the move, looking for things to get into. I basically had to bribe her with cheese to get this shot.

She's almost 1 year old.

Please do NOT use my photos in any way without permission. Thanks

Thank you. :)
She's a marble, but we think she might have a bit of the sunglow traits. instead of grey and black, she turned red.

Foxes are so beautiful.

Except the sick ones, I'm still to a see a pic of non-pretty fox. They are so cute and intelligent.

Really love them :)

they really are. they're VERY smart creatures. They like games and love to plan their next trouble making move.

She's definitely a trouble maker. She would climb on our kitchen counter when we weren't looking, steal the sink plug, and run away with it making squealing noises like she was proud of herself. It was hilarious, but irritating at the same time.

When we moved home to Washington state after my husband got out of the army, we were forced to find a new home for her. Foxes are VERY illegal in Washington state. Even the zoo has trouble getting them. I think it's ridiculous, but I would rather her be in a happy home rather than here where there's the possibility of having her taken away. We found a lady in Michigan with three other foxes who was able to take her in. We still get updates on here every so often.

Good to see that she has a good place to stay. But its always heartbreaking to leave behind such a lovely pet. I once lived in a vacant room in the house of a friend of mine (didnt had money to rent one), and he had such a wonderfull little dog. Now I have my place, but miss that little one.

Its weird that you cant have foxes in Washington. I would guess that their would be pets like any other. There are already wild foxes over there, so it wouldnt be worst than chinese turtles of fish, for example.
Some laws cant be understood :(

Washington is a bit strange in their laws for pets. You can own anything related to a rodent or a squirrel, but you can't own a fox...strange. Probably because of all those damn PETA freaks.
There are a few vets out here that I would absolutely REFUSE to take any animal to because of them. There was one that a friend took her dog to, that when she was simply disciplining her dog for doing something it shouldn't have done that one of the employees called her a horrible person and an animal abuser (among many other horrible things). I swear, some people here are just stupid.

We plan on getting a prairie dog and some hazel dormice (which are technically squirrels) once we get our own place again.

I just saw "The Fox and the Hound". What an incredible movie! I should have seen it before! Now I also whant a pet fox! :D

Prairie dogs and dormices? I heard higiene can be a problem, altough they are absolutely adorable. I guess one must have a little more effort in keeping them clean.

As for those PETA freaks. I truely believe that humans must learn how to co-exist with the rest of life in this planet. We are surprassing the need to get some things from nature. We dont need to get fur for clothing (modern artificial tissue can be even warmer than animal fur) and a lot of other stuff. We'll still keep needing minerals, though.
The problem are always those fanatics. They take a very sensitive premisse and just destroy it with their over-the-top fanaticism. Jeez, I hate those guys. They are not helping in being jerks!

Oh, and sorry for the late answer. I was kinda occupied. University issues. Sorry.
