Our fox is now about 4 months old and her personality grows almost as fast as she does. We see changes in her size almost daily, it's amazing.
She is nearly potty trained, which is wonderful! I think in the last 2 weeks I've only had to use the carpet cleaner 4 or 5 times. Just about all of those times were from where she just got so excited she peed on the carpet.
Unfortunately, she's getting too big for the kennel we have for her. And because she still has accidents during the night in there, I think it's time we got a new one.
In other news, my husband and I are going home for a few weeks here starting tomorrow (June 29th). Our flight leaves tomorrow afternoon, and we will be staying for 2 whole weeks! I'm super excited! Whoever said New York was a good place to live needs to be shot. The taxes and regulations here are absolutely ridiculous and I would sooner move back to Washington than stay here.
Unfortunately, Ben must be back here in NY before the 12th of July because the military screwed over the leave dates. So he leaves WA on the 10th of July instead of the 14th, which is when I will be returning to NY. It kinda sucks, but what can you do?
Also, we will not be bringing Kenti with us. Foxes are NOT allowed in Washington unless you have a special fur breeder license and are selling fur pelts. Meaning, no live foxes in the state. Period.
To fix this little issue, we asked one of my husbands friends to watch her for 2 weeks while we are gone. I worry about her a bit, but I know she'll be just fine. She'll be totally spoiled.
I will be taking my laptop home with us, so I will still have constant internet access (good deal!!), and I will also be taking my camera with me. I also have a few illustrator projects in the works, so maybe by the time I return here I will have some more illustrator work to post.
Have a good summer everyone!
